Mike,

Thanks for the reply. We'll encourage advance registration when we
publicize the event.

We'd estimate 40 to 60 attendees.

Our group would bring all equipment including routers, cabling and power.
All we'd need are connection points for AC and IP access.

For food, we hadn't made any plans other than somebody bringing a coffee
pot and cups.

We'd try to parallel installs with Asterisk veterans at a folding table
with the enthusiast.

I am new to the area so pardon me for slowly coming up to speed on parking
at GT. I'm used to rural Boilermaker territory where it wasn't so much of
a problem. With people lugging in desktops (handy for the PCI interfaces
common to Asterisk systems but there will be some laptops) we might have
to think of a way to have a drive-thru drop off point for equipment.

Now that's an interesting thought to have the install fest during the
developers conference! The undergraduate student population will have
scattered by then and we had wanted to make this available to them but
there could be advantages.

My reply is copied to the AtlAUG and ALE lists so let's see what sort of
feedback we get.

Best Regards,

Steven Henke
