Dropped calls on Deltacom PRI -
Users report random dropped calls daily usually outbound calls, User's
do not have a problem when using an IP Trunk VoicePulse...
updated switchtype to dms100 per Deltacom request... still same issue
Does anyone have a PRI card, I could borrow to install in another * box
to prove its not the * box?
Deltacom is saying the * box is sending the disconnect...
Not sure what else to do ... Any suggestions?
I have completely updated the PBX to the latest versions of the
following for Asterisk...

ISDN PRI Switch Configuration
If you have a PRI line, specify your type of switch here. (PRI is a type
of ISDN typically used to connect a PBX to a telephone exchange. They
have multiple channels on the one connection.)
*switchtype*: Sets the type of PRI switch being used. Default: national.
Acceptable values are:
* national: National ISDN type2 (common in the US)
* ni1: National ISDN type 1
* dms100: Nortel DMS100
* 4ess: AT&T 4ESS
* 5ess: Lucent 5ESS
* euroisdn: EuroISDN
* qsig: Minimalistic protocol to build a "network" with two or more
PBX of different vendors!

Could the "switchtype" setting be an issue?
Does anyone over there have any experience with Asterisk PRI config to
Deltacom ?
using a Digium

TE110P PRI card

Deltcom:
Here are some traps of dropped calls that happened today. On both calls
it looks like the disconnect came from the equipment at the site. The
customer also advised they had an interoffice call that dropped also.
Let me know if this helps you all out. Are there any specific settings
that you all have to set up on that card? If so, send them to me and
we'll see what we can find.
Thanks!
Jennifer

Client:
I really did not think it happened the first time but it really did. I
have had two dropped calls this afternoon:
880 282-8932 around 250pm I called out
770 640-7614 around 300pm I called out and just now at 303pm
DeltaCOM Response:
I captured the 770 one..... still looks like the equipment dropped it...
I also captured another reset from the equipment too...
